Frequently Asked Questions
Candle Care
1. How do I ensure my candle burns evenly?
To ensure an even burn, allow the wax to melt across the entire surface before extinguishing it. This helps prevent tunneling and extends the life of your candle.
2. How long should I burn my candle each time?
For the best results, burn your candle for 2-4 hours each time. This allows the wax to melt evenly and releases the full fragrance.
3. How should I trim the wick?
Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each use. This helps prevent soot buildup and ensures a clean, even burn.
Candle Jar Re-use
4. What can I do with the cement jar after the wax is gone?
Our cement jars are perfect for a variety of creative reuses. They make excellent succulent holders, stylish bathroom accessories for small items, unique candy jars, or even decorative storage containers for your office or kitchen. Simply clean out any remaining wax and repurpose them as you like.
5. How do I clean out the remaining wax from the jar?
To clean out the wax, place the jar in the freezer for a few hours. Once the wax is hard, it should easily pop out. Wash the jar with warm, soapy water to remove any residue.
6. Can I use the jar for food or beverages after the candle is gone?
We do not recommend using the jar for food or beverages, as it is designed primarily for decorative and storage purposes.
Candle and Jar Information
7. What are the jars sealed with?
Our jars are sealed with a non-toxic, water-based sealer that is environmentally friendly and earth-safe, ensuring both quality and safety.
8. Are the candles and jars truly handmade?
Yes! Each candle and jar is handcrafted and hand-poured one at a time, making them truly unique and special.
9. What makes each candle unique?
The handcrafting process ensures that no two candles or jars are exactly alike. The variations in color, texture, and finish make each piece one-of-a-kind.
Orders and Shipping
10. How long does it take to process and ship an order?
Orders are typically processed within 2-3 business days. Shipping times may vary depending on your location, but most orders arrive within 5-7 business days. We mainly utilize UPS & USPS shipping services. During summer weather and extreme heat, we only ship Monday-Wednesday. This ensures that the candle does not sit in extreme heat which may cause the wax to melt.
11. How are the candles packaged for shipping?
Each candle is individually wrapped and boxed with biodegradable packing peanuts, to ensure its safety during shipping.
